Connecting with the Next Generation of Bioengineers at The University of Sheffield
On Monday, ELAROS colleagues had the pleasure of visiting The University of Sheffield to speak with Bioengineering students as part of their Research Seminars module, kindly organised by Professor Chris Holland.
Professor Paul O’ Brien opened the session with an insightful overview of ELAROS and the evolution of digital health. This was followed by Celia Hobbs and Blesson Ezra—both Sheffield alumni in General Engineering and Bioengineering—who took a deep dive into some of our latest innovations, including Open-OH and early-stage R&D projects.
They were joined by fellow Sheffield graduates and ELAROS team members Oliwia Zwara, Toby Boud, Iona Doyle, and Román Rocha Lawrence, who all enjoyed connecting with students during and after the session. The turnout was exceptional, and we were truly impressed by the enthusiasm and talent on display.
A huge thank you to Chris Holland for inviting us back for what is now the 6th time—we always appreciate the opportunity to connect, share, and inspire the next generation of engineers. We are looking forward to the next one!
