Graduate Research and Development Associate
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Supporting Elaros’ immediate growth strategy to access regional, national, and international markets
- Driving forwards Elaros’ commercialisation of its C19-YRS Long Covid platform, both nationally and internationally, which will include:
- Product testing, refinement, and development
- System demonstrations, staff training and technical support
- Engaging with clinical care and other NHS organisations to increase awareness, seek support and new commercial leads
- Project support on various R&D projects linked to C19-YRS
- Supporting and contributing to Elaros’ Research & Development operations to bring its advanced products closer to market, linked to Elaros’ Mi-Trial, Hydr8, CQI Toolkit, and Neu-Restore products
- Software development, oversight and input into a number of Elaros’ existing apps and emerging consultancy contracts
- User experience design and testing of various Elaros products
- Supporting the launch of at least two of Elaros’ existing products over the next 12 months
Skills and experience
- 2:1 classification or higher in a biomedical engineering or health science related degree. Applicants from another STEM subject with experience in bioengineering / health science related projects are also welcomed.
- Be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in healthcare and the application of science to improving people’s health

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail – excellent proof-reading ability

Desirables
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Mailchimp, Adobe and/or Affinity-related programs
- Previous work experience in any role in any sector
- Experience or involvement in social activities, such as hobbies, charity work, or clubs
- The role may require occasional travel so a driving licence would be advantageous but not essential
