ELAROS Appoints Román Rocha Lawrence as Graduate Trainee Research & Development Manager

ELAROS is pleased to appoint Román Rocha Lawrence as our new Graduate Trainee Research & Development Manager. He will manage a number of ELAROS projects and support the development of the company’s R&D portfolio. 

Román has just graduated from The University of Sheffield with a First Class Honours Degree in Bioengineering (MEng) and will join the ELAROS Team tomorrow (Monday the 29 July 2019). As part of his degree he specialised in Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering and Computational Medicine; completing a summer research project with Insigneo in 2018. 

Román has a broad depth of knowledge in interdisciplinary STEM subjects and experience working in high pressure environments in both academia and the workplace. Over the past 3 years he has developed a strong business acumen through organising and promoting his own events in the Yorkshire region; managing others, building professional relationships and marketing.

The team is looking forward to welcoming him on board.
