Oliwia Zwara to join ELAROS Summer 2022 Placement Programme

ELAROS has selected Oliwia Zwara to join the company’s 2022 summer placement programme.

Oliwia is a University of Sheffield student, studying for a MEng Bioengineering and specialising in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials. 

Oliwia has previously engaged with the Global Engineering Challenge, designing a medical device for patients with type 1 diabetes, and designing and building a PCR machine as part of the Group Project in Bioengineering. 

Oliwia will rotate through all of the Elaros programmes but will major on our Long Covid programme of work and a new programme that we launched with £280,000 of Innovate UK funding in April looking at the assessment of Stroke (Neu-Restore).
