Dr. Clare Williamson Joins ELAROS as Programme Manager
ELAROS is pleased to announce that Dr. Clare Williamson has joined ELAROS as Programme Manager with an initial focus on delivering Elaros’ recently awarded Innovate UK Project.
Graduating from King’s College, London, with a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology & Toxicology, she moved to Sheffield in 1999 where she completed her PhD studies at Sheffield Hallam University, investigating the role of antibodies in patients with gluten ataxia. Clare then worked on gluten ataxia as a post-doctoral researcher during which time she was a co-author on several research papers and presented her work at various scientific conferences.
Clare then joined the NIHR: Y&H Clinical Research Network where she worked with a small team of research nurses across South Yorkshire carrying out clinical trials on diabetes. Most recently, Clare has been passing on her enthusiasm for science as a secondary school science teacher.
Clare will enable ELAROS and its partners (the University of York and Aston University) to complete the Innovate UK project in order to provide the evidence that NICE has requested to undertake a Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme of ELAROS’ Digital Bladder Diary.
