ELAROS welcomes back Blesson Ezra to the team

ELAROS has welcomed back Blesson Ezra after his completion of the company’s 2023 summer placement programme.
Blesson graduated from the University of Sheffield, this year with an MEng in Bioengineering specialising in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials. He completed his final project in the natural material, on spider silk, under the supervision of Professor Chris Holland.
Blesson has a keen interest in the future of digital healthcare, biomimetics and biomaterials. He also enjoys playing tennis, cricket, running and exploring the beautiful Peak District
During his summer placement at ELAROS, Blesson Ezra focused on researching the clinical context of Long COVID and the role of the C19-YRS digital assessment tool. He gained insight into ELAROS’ international expansion efforts and its collaborative approach with academics, clinicians, and industry partners. Blesson also explored opportunities to extend the C19-YRS system to other chronic conditions, particularly researching Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) for pulmonary rehabilitation in COPD patients, highlighting the benefits of digitisation for efficiency and care quality.
Blesson will now build on this experience by working across various areas of the company, including commercialisation, project planning, and research & development, before finding his niche and establishing his role within the team.
